In October 2025, the NC Museum of Natural Sciences unveiled the latest research findings from the Dueling Dinosaurs DinoLab, confirming that the tyrannosaur in the Dueling Dinosaurs fossil block was a member of the yet-understudied species Nanotyrannus lancensis. This research was published in Nature.
I was tasked with creating onsite content to educate our visitors about this new research and to encourage them to visit the DinoLab to find out more.
